- I've been having problems occasionally with several PM288MT II v.34
- modems. Occasionally they refuse to answer the phone, and stop
- responding to AT commands. If I send an ATZ command, they do reset
- and work fine again, until something causes them to hang again. I
- think they are getting confused by some other brand of modem.
-
- I'm running 7 PM288MT II v.34 modems on a roll-over dialin for
- users, and this is a nuisance to have them locking up occasionally,
- since they will ring and ring, confusing the users.
-
- The ROM version in the modems is
-
- PM28800MT [42R9] Version 1.61 (c) Practical Peripherals, Inc.,1995.
-
- I'm wondering if a newer ROM would correct this problem.
